4 weeks paid Paternity Leave

4 weeks paid Paternity Leave

Consult with social partners in MCESD with a view to increasing maternity leave from 18 to 22 weeks, with the additional four weeks being subsidised by Government, and introducing four weeks of paternity leave because we believe that fathers must be more present during the first days of their children’s lives. Following agreement with the social partners, we commit to implementing this proposal.

Points

The fathers are very important in a family ,

You can never have equality between men and women if family responsibility and care of children is not split equally. It should also be the prerogative of the family when the leave is taken

this is proper gender equality
