Increase the capital of the Malta Development Bank by €360m to be used for loan guarantees to local businesses and startups to enable them to invest in innovation, productivity, efficiency, internationalisation and growth. The loan guarantees will vary from €25,000 to €250,000 and will be based on a transparent mechanism granted on the basis of merit and due diligence.
