Increase research funds for the University of Malta

Provide significant incentives for research which focus on social, educational, health, well-being and economic benefits for the community; increase to €1 million annually the RTDI fund established at the University of Malta; establish a new fund of €5 million annually for research in the physical, applied and social sciences and in technology.

Points

Research opportunities need to be also extended to part timers or visiting lecturers. Such individuals are usually employed in the field and interested in researching and academia.
