Ensure that the excessive waste generation and inefficiencies in waste management that have taken place under a Labour Government are reversed, and meet our EU and international obligations within five years. We also pledge to embark on a national consultation process in order to identify the most appropriate waste disposal options, including the waste to energy option being currently studied.
